Clan Name: Hyuuga Clan
Clan Background: The Hyuuga were long considered the nobles of the free world after the days of Naruto Uzumaki. However they eventually fell into hatred for the Uchiha and were a large part of the reason they were instigated and eventually socially thrust out of the main alliance. After the World War, they largely went into isolation in the ruins of Konhagakure. Their secrecy and lack of trust sky-rocketed and they are rarely seen now. They harbor quite a hatred for the Uchiha, and have lost the companionship of the kaguya. The Senju and Uzumaki they blame for failing to squash the Uchiha rebellion when they had the chance, and therefore are on rocky ground with them as well.
Clan Description: The clan keeps a quite low-key in regards to most things. They largely believe in the concepts of yin and yang in nature. They divide most great things in life according to "balance". They believe largely in moderation with most things, and that aggression should only be used in self defense. The majority of the clan harbors issues with the Uchiha on an incident with an ancestor in which his honor was trashed by an Uchiha. The clan, however, is not a hateful one; but rather quite single minded. They dislike the Uchiha on grounds that they believe they are too unstable to be allowed to have any substantial power; much like Tobirama Senju.
Their way of life is very neat and orderly, and they are an overall wealthy clan. They learn by the traditions of their fathers, and keep a custom/code they have long kept for the preservement of their clan. While they are not the only clan to do this, they are arguably the most strict regarding these things; second only to the Senju.
The Hyuuga clan's main beliefs follow the basic principals of life, the belief that life flows in the path of either Ying or Yang. Members of the branch believe that their strength derives from the sacred eight trigrams that their very fighting style is derived from and follow these teachings to a tee. Members of this prestigious clan are prideful in their abilities in the art of taijutsu and their own clan's doujutsu so much that they believe that it is the superior kekkai genkai above all. Each member of the clan from the time that they are able to walk are trained in the art of the gentle fist, training day and night to hone the skills of the clan so that when the time came each member could display the destructive power of the clan. The main two goals of the hyuuga clan revolve around their pride as a clan and their pride as a clan and community. The main first goal of the clan is to prove that their Kekkai Genkai is superior to all especially the clan known as the Uchiha, and secondly to grow their clan into one of the strongest and most renowned clan in the land.
Unlike most clans, the Hyuuga clan is split into two families; the main family and the branch family. The main family consists of the clan head, clan advisers and other elite members. The branch family however consists of the lower fighting force of the clan and the other lower classed members. Although the clan operates under one sole leader, the branch families main goal is to protect the main family and offer their assistance when needed. There is no longer the same level of superiority and even class-warfare as before, but there is royalty nonetheless.
The Eight Divinations:
Within the Main branch hierarchy there exists an additional ranking amongst those that are the children of the past's founders. Within these Eight they are given one of the eight symbols or "trigrams" based on which one their family had possesed or kept througout the generations. Those with these specific markings are seen as the Main Branches eight pillars or eight concepts that the clan uses not only in their fighting style's but also their own faith. The eight trigram's rest upon the bearers upper body, but are always usually tattoed or branded onto their body.
Clan Laws:
-Those of the clan are prohibited to teach anyone outside of the clan ANY of the clan's technique's or give any of the Hyuuga secrets out to those not of the clan.
-The art of the Gentle Fist should not be used against a fellow Hyuuga member unless engaged in a direct spar. Those caught attempting to kill their own clansmen will be punished.

Clan Characteristics: Members of the Hyuuga clan are known to have no noticeable iris or pupil and their eyes are simply a milky white color with a simple black outline surrounding the area of the pupil. Their hair however varies from multiple shades of grey to charcoal black although the most common amongst the clan is black. They are usually seen wearing white attire save for during funerals. The Hyuuga adorn themselves in quite expensive robes; robes they make and sell even. They are beatiful and laced with gold and other gems often; a masterpiece wardrobe.

Kekkei Genkai Description: Byakugan is a special eye trait limited to Hyuuga Clan members. When this Bloodline Limit is used a strain is forced around the eye below the temple towards the ears. There's a noticeable difference on the user's face: blood vessels appear to be pulsating through the skin.
When the user activates Byakugan, the user gains exceptional vision. This new vision allows the user to view an opponents Chakra circulatory system. The user also has a field of vision, which is almost 360 degrees, minimizing the blind spot. In addition to this, the users range of vision can increase over a very long distance. The strength of this vision may depend on the ability of the user. The increase in range of vision complements the new field of vision. This allows the user to detect, without effort, any action within a 15m radius (the small blind spot is counted as an exception). The Byakugan user boasts an advantage in the field of close combat due to the vision and sense of nearby surroundings he/she has.
After activating Byakugan, the user can perform Jyuuken (Gentle Fist). The level of Jyuuken performed depends on the ability of the user and the strength of the user's Byakugan. A skilled Byakugan user may use Jyuuken to seek an opponents Chakra holes (Tenketsu) and attack the Chakra circulatory system directly by making then it target of a Jyuuken attack. A highly skilled Byakugan user is capable of damaging all of the opponents Chakra holes and potentially shutting down the opponents Chakra circulatory system.
Members of the clan are instructed in the use of the Gentle Fist style, which uses the Byakugan to view the opponent's Chakra Pathway System and deal precise blows to disable and impede the flow of chakra. Due to training in this style, Hyūga clan members tend to have excellent chakra control. This is emphasised in techniques that utilise this chakra control, as well as the nuances of the Gentle Fist Art. Because of this, the Gentle Fist is regarded as Konoha's strongest taijutsu style.
It has been noted that this clan possesses more than one kekkei genkai, one of which grants them the ability to expel chakra from every tenketsu in their body, allowing them to fully utilise chakra with attacks such as the Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven and the Gentle Fist Art One Blow Body techniques.

Description: Decapitating Bolt was created by the Hyuuuga Leader Reishin as a method to bring new technique’s to the Gentle Fist style. The jutsu works by channeling chakra into the users hand and changing its properties into a 3 meter wide bolt of wind during the release of the chakra. When used in conjunction of the Byakugan it allows the Hyuuga member to become a precise long ranged fighter in order to catch their opponent off guard. If hit with one of the wind bolts, the bolt lodges into the oppponets afflicted limb and shatters dealing additional damage through the said part. The bolts themselves move at approximately 725 mph.
Drawbacks: After every three uses of the jutsu its cutting potential diminishes by ten for after use after.

Description: Reflecting Fist was created by Reishin to create another form of defense through the Gentle Fist arts. Reflecting Fist takes the initial stance of the 64 palms rotation, but brings the hands closer to the body instead of outstretched. Through the users hands and body they generate a thin layer of chakra which combined with simple element manipulation becomes wind that they control with their hands. When faced with an oncoming attack, the user begins to immediately revolve their hands in front of them while remaining still which combined with the wind creates and barrier or wall that blocks the attack. Due to its properties of wind, Fire based attacks will deal more damage against it.
Drawbacks: The user must remain stationary for the duration of the technique or it will automatically cancel out. In addition, attacks that are faster than the user will bypass the barrier before it can be completed.

Description: The Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms is a technique of the Gentle Fist fighting style. It is essentially a doubled version of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms performed at twice the speed. This technique is used to close off the flow of chakra through one hundred and twenty-eight chakra points of an opponent's Chakra Pathway System. This eliminates their ability to use chakra for quite some time and makes it difficult for them to move. Alternatively, it can be used to hit a great number of targets very quickly.
Once someone is within range of the user's field of divination, they assume a Gentle Fist stance and begin to deliver the attack:

Description: A secret taijutsu that is orally handed down only within the main house of the Hyūga, this technique utilises the chakra control gained through Gentle Fist training to release a huge amount of chakra from all the chakra points on the user's body. It is also a defensive manoeuvre to compensate for the Byakugan's blind spot as the released chakra blocks any possible attack on the user. After releasing chakra from every tenketsu in their body, the user then spins rapidly to parry the attack, both creating a rotating shield of chakra around themselves and tossing away any nearby attackers. The user can also actively control the size and power of the sphere to suit the situation. This technique is only effective when rotating, since the chakra itself is not enough to stop a physical attack thus if they cannot spin, the user becomes vulnerable.
Drawbacks: The longer the user spins the more chakra they consume, also the sphere of chakra only protects above ground unless spinning in the air.

Description: It is a dangerous technique that is appropriately handed down from father to only a single child within the Hyūga clan. It is a manoeuvre of the Gentle Fist fighting style.[2] With the Byakugan's near 360° field of vision, the user envisions an Eight Trigrams circle. Then the enemy within this circle is hit with a series of violent blows. By striking sixty-four of the tenketsu throughout the opponent's Chakra Pathway System, their chakra flow is stopped, making them unable to even stand.
Once someone is within range of the user's field of divination, the user assumes a Gentle Fist stance and begins to deliver the attack:

Description: Created by Hinata, this is a highly versatile technique which affords both offensive and defensive capabilities whereby she emits a constant stream of chakra from her palms, which are formed into extremely thin, sharp, blades. While using this technique offensively, Hinata shapes the chakra into thin, sharp, flexible blades allowing her to hit hundreds of targets with extreme precision and can cut smaller targets, like bees, into pieces. When used defensively, Hinata creates much larger, stronger, more flexible, arc-shaped chakra blades that spread out across her entire attack range, effectively forming a barricade between herself and her opponents, rebuffing even the largest and smallest of targets.
With the addition of Hinata's flexibility, the technique creates an "absolute defence" effect similar to that of the Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven, though the cutting nature of the chakra prevents any outside force from restricting it.

Description: Using the chakra control granted by the Gentle Fist, Hinata concentrates her chakra until water vortexes are created around her. Those vortexes shoot water blasts which turn to needle-like water. By using Byakugan, this technique can be used with great precision to hit very small targets such as bees. These water needles move at the speed of 175 MPH.
Drawbacks: These needles when combatted against a tougher force will simply shatter into nothing.
Combination with other techs: When used with the Heavenly Rotation, a user can spray the area around him in sharp needles causing a volley of needles in every direction.

This dōjutsu is manifested as very distinctive eyes, characterized by their enlarged and featureless white irises with no visible pupils. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge. It also appears that unlike the other two great dōjutsu, all members of the clan possess, and can use this kekkei genkai from birth, as opposed to needing to awaken or else, not inheriting it at all.

AbilitiesByakugan's Blind Spot
The Byakugan's blind spot.
The primary ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra.[5] Upon activation of the dōjutsu, the wielder is granted an automatic 50 metre field of vision around themselves which can be extended through training as Hinata Hyūga's range in Part II stretches to at least as far as 10 kilometres.[8]
The Byakugan is also able to see through solid objects and smokescreens, even through most barriers as only a particularly strong barrier such as the Four Black Fogs Formation is able to somewhat distort the Byakugan's perception. It can also differentiate between non-corporeal clones and see through techniques that would otherwise hide an opponent from normal sight.The dōjutsu also has the ability to follow high-speed movement. In the anime, the Byakugan was also shown able to magnify objects to see the smallest of targets in the area and see in infrared to detect a target's body heat.
Chakra Circulatory SystemChakra Pathway System.
Arguably its greatest ability is to see chakra in all its nature, including its flow and the circulation system inside the body with great detail as well as the colour of chakra. Like the Sharingan and Rinnegan, the Byakugan can detect chakra sealed barriers as well as determine when genjutsu is being used. In the anime, the Byakugan can also discern a transformation from the real person through their chakra. It is from the Byakugan's especially acute perception of chakra that the Hyūga Clan are able to employ their signature fighting style: Gentle Fist. Able to strike without force, and yet do more damage to a ninja than some of the most powerful ninjutsu, the Gentle Fist has been labelled as the greatest taijutsu style known in all of Konohagakure.
Unlike most taijutsu styles, which is focused on external injuries, the Gentle Fist style focuses mainly on internal injuries. Each strike, when placed correctly, strikes along the chakra pathway system, which is the network of vessels that carry chakra. This network is closely intertwined with the functioning of the body's organs, and so, when the keirakukei take damage, the organs suffer as well. This make the Gentle Fist highly dangerous to face as one cannot train one's internal organs to become stronger. The only possible defence is to stop the Gentle Fist's hits from connecting. Along the keirakurei are 361 pinprick-sized nodes called tenketsu, or chakra points, which only the more skilled users can see. When struck, the Byakugan user can choose to either seal, or forcibly open these tenketsu, thus giving the user complete control over their opponent's chakra system, potentially letting the user seal the victim's body through its stopped chakra flow.
Constantly using the Byakugan over a very long period of time causes severe eye strain, becoming unable to properly perceive targets at all. This condition, however, is not permanent.
