| Character Registration TemplateCharacter Name: Hashirama Raito Titles/Other Names: Hashi. / Hyperactive Demon Age: 19 Species: Human Gender: M Appearance: Always cheerful and with a smile on his face, Hashi is a well kept and sweet looking boy. He usually wears a mix between lightly colored long sleeved shirt and a pair of dark pants. While the clothes are perfect fit, they still are easy to move around in and not slowing down Hashi's movements. He doesn't care much about his appearance, focusing more on comfort that how well he looks so his clothing adapts usually to the given moment. He still refuses to wear large coats even in the winter, as he believes they would weight too much and slow down his movement and reactions which he would not approve off. Not caring much about his looks, Hashi has longish for a boy and always messy blond hard as well as honey brown big eyes which could be considered quite cute. Together with his slim yet athletic body, Hashi comes across as swift and quick which portrays his skill set well. He wears his head protector as a scarf around his neck as while he isn't afraid of getting hit, he still believes he should defend a part of the body that is most open to deadly attack. - Personal Beliefs wrote:
- Rarely seen angry or without a smile, Hashi is a rather cheerful individual who enjoys company of others as well as some free time. While he does love peace, he would much rather spend time with friends socializing or training together. Hashi is just one of these people who considers everyone his friends and can usually befriend anyone and anywhere. Its that optimistic attitude which led him to becoming overly excitable, getting overly happy with minor things and feeling the need of telling everyone around him.
Hashi enjoys training with people more that alone. As a matter of fact he preforms much better with people looking over him, as he does feel the need to prove others that he is, or rather will be famous some day. His techniques are usually flashy but quick, not giving the opponent even the slightest opening usually leading to a quick fight where either side wins.
Hashi dislikes pointless work which can be easily avoided or which will lead to nothing, hence at times he chooses to avoid some of the more boring responsibility, going swimming, playing games or simply chatting to girls. While Hashi gets along with most people, the female gender seems to enjoy him more as he is a pretty open person compared to other guys, with the additional fact that Hashi is actually a huge pervert. While its true that most of his friends are female, Hashi does have a few good male friends.
While Hashi does love fighting and training, he dislikes the idea of taking another person's life unless its absolutely necessary. In fact if possible, he tends to avoid pointless combat which often leaves him at a disadvantage due to the opponent making the first move. In addition he is very loyal, and even despite the previous point, if an ally or a friend is attacked, he would consider it a necessity to kill the attacker solely to save his comrade.
Hashirama is set in the belief mankind will never look at situations rationally and will - always and inevitably - resort to violence to resolve conflicts. Most of the time he manages to keep this cynical part of his persona under wraps, but occasionally something so spectacularly idiotic happens that reveals his hatred of all things ignorant. He can burst into a fit of curses faster than the blink of an eye, and wields his sarcasm like a second language. Such outbursts are rare and seen by few, however, so most are unaware of Hashi's more temperamental side. It takes a lot to get a rise out of the brunette; anything short of incredible disrespect for his friends and family will rarely earn such a rise out of him.
Deep down, behind his sometimes questionable morals and "excessive" actions, Hashi is a good guy. He is completely honest about everything he says and does, no matter what the consequences might be. His methods are questionable, but everything he does is done with a good intention in mind. When he steals, when he lies or fights, he only does so out of his overpowering desire to establish peace for his chaotic life - even if it's only for a few minutes.
Hashi's only real goal is to enjoy life as much as possible. He loves to laugh and make other laugh alongside him, to poke fun at friends and strangers alike. As such, his more serious demeanor is often overshadowed by a playful persona that pokes fun at everything and everyone he comes across. If he finds a situation amusing himself, he might take his antics so far that other parties involved might actually question his sanity. He'll taunt his foes with ridiculous insults and threats so horrendously violent one might mistake the brunette for a psychopath. Hashi will ignore all manner of social tact should he find it appropriate for the situation, making the most bizarre inquiries and contextually-inappropriate jokes in order to amuse himself.
Now he is a friendly person to all the person he considers dear, even while assuming a cold and stoic approach to people. Those closest to him know him as a quiet yet respectful man. Although calmed and collected he sometimes lets the anger get the better of him such when his beloved fiance was taken as a hostage only to be killed before him. Having a greater attachment and sense of belonging with his homeland he will do what he has to do in order to save it. Even sacrificing his life and that of his subordinates to accomplish his goals. Background/History: - the Preface:
Hashirama Raito was born into the Raito; a family whose members tended to lean towards the aspects of a martial artist rather than a shinobi. Knowing how to defend oneself was a key aspect of life within this tight-knit family, and there had yet to be a child who didn't learn how to throw a solid punch. Ever since the moment he could walk Hashi found himself undergoing rigorous training exercises and forms so long they would boggle the minds of most any ninja. He learned how to move both on and offbeat during a fight before he could even speak full sentences, much less actually hold a conversation with someone his age. Learning how to perfect his footwork and increasing his flexibility were both daily routines for the boy. Every day the boy was dragged out of bed before the sun even rose, followed by hours of the same exercises; stretching, sitting in stances, perfecting the slightest of mistakes in his combat form. He spent plenty of time watching his family's sparring matches, picking up on the subtle movements they made and what techniques they had labeled as 'effective' and not just 'flashy.'
After finally coming of age, Hashi was thrust into the ninja academy at the wishes of his father. He personally didn't mind all too much, and really didn't have much trouble with the lessons he was taught. And from that stemmed the problem that most of what he was being taught he had already learned years ago. As such he became the class clown; always making jokes and overall becoming the center of attention. He was relatively well liked by both his fellow academy students and his instructors, who grudging admitted that he showed promise as a shinobi. His taijutsu skills were naturally far above average, and while his ninjutsu were unpolished they showed signs of promise. His genjutsu weren't bad - he just didn't really care about them. Hashi preferred to be in the middle of the fight, not sitting on the sideline serving as a distraction.
Graduation felt relatively insignificant to Hashi, who considered it a relatively simple task. He graduated near the top of his class, and probably would have been at the top if he had honestly cared about his written exams. Merely a week later the boy found himself thrust onto a team with two of his fellow genin and his jonin-sensei. Teamwork was something came naturally to Hashi; his already outgoing and open personality, combined with his considerable skill, made him an excellent companion during missions. Yet, he always remained detached from his team in the sense that he rarely honed his skills while he was with them. Instead he found himself under the tutoring of his family, who were more than eager to jam his head full of a multitude of wind-element jutsu as was custom. His skills with a blade continued to grow under the tutoring of his father, yet for all the work Hashi put into his ninja career he never received the 'respect' his father claimed he had not yet earned it.
After two or so years of playing genin Hashi rose to the rank of chuunin, breezing (literally, lol wind jutsu puns) through the exams. He had grown close to his teammates - so close that he actually considered them like an extension of his family. He had long since abandonned his family's training methods for those of his own, which involved plenty of two-on-one action. They did everything together - eating meals, training, relaxing, there was hardly a minute in the day where they weren't together. Then a simple mission - delivering some supplies to trading company - went horribly wrong. A group of missing-nin attacked his squad, seriously wounding Hashi and fatally wounding his teammates. Needless to say, after being released from the hospital Hashi was undergoing a slew of emotions he was unfamiliar with.
He parted ways with his sensei, wishing to spend more time honing his skills with the blade and ninjutsu than what they could provide. However, he also wanted time to cope with his own feeling, to grieve so that he could get on with his life. He returned to the training he had undergone as a child, only intensified tenfold. He found himself spending hours working on his footwork, combining this training with that of tree and water walking to help boost his chakra control and reserves further. As such he found himself returning to the art of dance once again, no longer embarrassed by this very effective training style and occasionally hurling gale-force winds in the direction of those who looked down upon this 'effeminate' training.
Sure enough, as time passed Hashi overcame the grief for his fallen comrades. The change in his personality was immediately noticeable - he once again became cheery and borderline-psychotic, every bit the ninja he had been as a child. Determined to get back on track, Hashi contacted his old sensei and relayed his desire to continue doing missions together. Oddly enough they became a two-man squad, occasionally aided by another Jonin on higher-ranked missions, and continued the work they had left behind. Hashi continued to grow and develop his skills, now finding himself pushed by his sensei’s constant reassurance of ‘if you screw up I’m going to disown you.’
Eventually, upon turning seventeen, his father bestowed his family's blade – Sorakiri – upon his son, claiming that he was too old to carry the damned thing around and that he couldn't let it just gather dust in the corner. With this weapon came a scroll depicting the various jutsu he was to learn to make effective use of the blade, including the signature jutsu of his family - Fūton: Neji no Tendou. Also came the storage necklace which allowed for the blade to be stored with ease. Armed with this knowledge, Hashi's training shifted towards a more weapon and ninjutsu-oriented style, focusing on building his chakra reserves and further developing his skill with the blade.
With these new techniques in his arsenal, Hashi quickly rose through the ranks and became a full-blown jonin at the age of nineteen. This was the crowning moment of Hashi's life; he had surpassed all of his former classmates in both raw skill and power, enough so that he could actually defeat his former sensei and father, who had once been one of the village's most prominent ninja. Well, technically he wasn't able to defeat his old sensei, though most every sparring match they had ended in a dead-even tie. His years of training had paid off; he was one of the fastest shinobi in the village, and even those who could keep up with him were thrown by his chaotic and haphazard movements.
And then for the next six months Hashi felt something he had never felt before. Emptiness. Boredom. He had basically attained all his life's dreams, and now had nothing left to do but hone his skills and improve what areas he lacked in. Sure, he spent a good deal of time wandering around the village and seducing women all the while, but after a few months his morals finally kicked in and forced him to find something better to do with his time. He tried training, but without a partner that he wasn't used to fighting it felt incomplete. And so to the objection of his fellow shinobi, who were aware of his borderline-suicidal training routines, he submitted his application for a genin team. - the Hyperactive Demon:
Over the course of the transition between the ranks of the Fire Country, Hashi has lost a few screws. While it was granted that any path of power is that of insanity, it probably wasn't briefed all that correctly to fate, or perhaps there was a typo, for where most would simply lose it and go on a rampage, Hashi has actually drawn from the deranged thoughts and created something similar to a "kings complex". While most might think it's fueled by his arrogance or stupidity, it isn't anything but, infact, the only reason why Hashi isn't completely off the deep end is because he keeps his mind in-tact by thinking less of the people around him and bringing them below him, which allows him to keep a sense of security overtop what's possibly just a bundle of sticks with a bunch of oil over it prepared to be lit aflame. There's a couple of theories as to why or how Hashi came into this state, but the one that he seems to verify is how he soaked up both of his inner demons to the point of nearly becoming, the gleeful violent Jester and the strict Knightly thoughts perhaps keep him afloat in very white waters, but whatever the case may be, it certainly isn't healthy.
Hashi's voice, albeit really low, sighed heavily over his late fiance's tombstone. "Sakura ..." His usual gleaming smile which is filled with confidence in himself, was a horrible frown which littered his face. Looking at the stone tablet which is the last testament to his dearly beloveds life. Taken away from him to soon, in the midst of him completing a mission he came home to find his entire humble abode ransacked and demolished in the middle of the night. Calling out to Sakura, yell after yell, with no reply. he ran to the back room where they both stayed. A scene drenched in red, blood splattered every where. Hashi dropped to his knees, with tears falling from his face. She was carved out with a blade, different body parts laying across the scenery. This moment forever haunts Hashi, and attributes firmly to his new attitude. Not that he doesn't believe himself to be lethal, but he will always second-guess or doubt something, never letting something go to rest until it's head is spattered against a wall, and from what he's learned, sometimes not even then. Enrooted somewhat in his own doubts, he lacks the ability to trust or care for anything much anymore, the only thing that has semblance is interest in a topic or perhaps a person on special occasion, but this only happens if he cannot wrap his mind around them or can see potential, which is rather rare because the only people he's seen who have had potential ended up being torn to bits a few months later. He is also pretty distant because of this, but not introverted or socially inept, well, perhaps socially inept. If something is needed, he will drop the distant bullshit and vocally -- or perhaps physically -- greet the need or greet the needy if it's on the other end of the spectrum. The Storage Necklace is another trinket of Hashi’s father who was also a trained shinobi yet enjoyed an active social life among Fire Country’s merchant elite. Always wanting to be prepared on at least some level, this formal piece of jewelry was invaluable. Crafted in the manner of an interesting puzzle and encompassing the usage of Fuuinjutsu, the necklace is Shien at its very core. Allowing any of the simplest ninja who know the seals to use the necklace. Hashi’s usage of it is much that same as his father’s but instead also allows the boy to carry around his array of large swords around with him at any given time without weighing his body down. Necklace itself hangs from Hashi’s neck on a simple chain. Made from three etched rings one of steel, platinum and silver, the necklace is fashioned almost like a piece of jewelry. Rotating patterned rings of various sizes fit together and rotate freely when left unchecked. When locked in place and held there, the various rings seem to form intricate seals obvious to those that inspect the trinket further in this state.
Description:
The storage necklace may look like a piece of jewelry but this is because it allows its owner to carry object, usually weapons that would instead be stored in large and bulky scrolls into a small and compact form that doesn't get in the way during social functions or day to day operation. There are six possible seal combination resulting in the necklace allowing for six separate objects to be stored at any given time. Once and object is stored in the necklace in remains in storage until the user activates the seal with their chakra and summons the specific stored object forth.

- Name: Sorakiri [Heaven Cutter]
Rank: A Density/Hardness: 270 Forces: 270 Type: Kenjutsu/Sword Arts Requirements: Blood Lock (Only Hashirama and users permitted by Hashirama may use) Appearance:
Sorakiri isn't as old as the last Great Treasure, but it is still considered to be quite old by sword standards go. This sword, unlike the last one was created for the sole purpose of combat and combat is exactly it has seen a lot of. Staying in line with the quality of the blade from the last sword, it was crafted in over a hundred days of straight work. The blade itself is composed of several different types of metal that enhance its aesthetic qualities, endurance and cutting ability, creating a perfect blend of metals to create a blade that could transcend the heavens itself. And that's where it got its name from, for having a blade so magnificent it held the possibility to cut the heavens and all that lies beyond it. Of course, that's what a man would call their masterpiece, so it was merely out of respect of his own work. Now, onto the qualities of the blade that was forged. It is mainly composed of titanium, a rough, tough and durable type of metal that is seen in many types of structures and tools so it was no wonder it was the base metal. And then silver was added, along with platinum, for its color and sheen. Not only that, but when it was complete it would have a certain color with it and liquids as well as leftovers from what it cut would slide off it with ease which left a rather clean cut. And of course, steel was another component of it. However, the strangest addition to the mix was the diamond dust. The diamond dust wasn't exactly dust, but rather finely cut diamonds that were nearly impossible to see with the naked eye. Adding that to the cutting edge of the blade at the end would create a blade that could cut through plenty of tough objects. The concept was that when cutting through a tough target, the diamond dust along the blade's edge would grind into the target and the diamonds would rub together to make cutting even easier. When the blade was finally complete, it ended up being something between a slate blue and silver color, with sparkling streaks of white along the edge. The blade is exactly four feet long, an inch thick and about a couple centimeters thick. Just like the previous sword, it has a rather easy to wield grip and the same family seal was placed at the butt of the sword. What also aids to the sword's name is the seal place along one of the flat sides of the blade. The seal consists of a couple kanji characters with five more bordering it. The seal allows for its wielder to charge the seal with their chakra and then release it as a small outward explosion of pure chakra which can be shaped into crescent shapes when swung simultaneously. When the sword is swung regardless if the ability is being used or not, where it was swung leaves sparkling particles in the air. Not only that, but the cutting edge of the sword actually sparkles as well, even in low light, meaning the sword's wielder somewhat loses some stealth. Those with the ability to see chakra like byakugan or sharingan users would be able to decipher how much chakra is actually charged up at any given time. Not only that, but the seal charges up, the five small kanji characters bordering the large one will light up one after another, each one corresponding to a different charge level. And when it's fully charged, the middle seal will glow brightly, sometimes giving the sword's wielder away when they're about to strike. And the wielder must have the needed chakra reserves to even use the higher level charges.
Description:
Flare – By charging their chakra into the seal, the wielder can later release it in the form of an outward explosion of chakra that can be formed into crescent shapes when swung simultaneously. The power of the seal's effect is solely dependent on the amount of chakra stored up within the seal before it's released. Unless the sword is swung, the chakra release is merely a short ranged ability and can only be used to burst the chakra forward for a concussive burst similar like a burst of wind capable of pushing things backward. However, when the sword is swung as the chakra is released, the chakra builds up along the blade's edge and forms itself in the shape of the blade's edge as it rushed forward capable of cutting what's in its path.
Because it relies on the charge up of chakra, the seal has to be charged before the ability can be used and has to be charged up over time. Not only that, but the amount of chakra within the seal at the time of release determines the ability's power. Zero posts of charging would be equivalent to a E-Rank jutsu. One post would be equivalent to a D-Rank jutsu. Two Posts would be equivalent to a C-Rank Jutsu. Three posts would be equivalent to a B-Rank jutsu. Four posts would be equivalent to an A-Rank jutsu. Six posts would be equivalent to an S-Rank jutsu, however if used at full charge the seal will cease to be usable for the rest of the thread. Wielder must be holding the hilt of the sword in order to charge the seal.
(Each charge is equivalent to 1 post) E-Rank Charging Cost [0 Post] D-Rank Charging Cost [1 Post] C-Rank Charging Cost [2 Post] B-Rank Charging Cost [3 Post] A-Rank Charging Cost [4 Post] S-Rank Charging Cost [5 Post]
Also, in addition to that, the size and power of the effect is also accounted for and has definite limitations. The E-Rank charge can create a small outward explosion when not being swung that has enough force to push something back by a foot or create a “blade” that is only about a foot long and can only cause minor cut when swung. The D-Rank can either have a push back effect of two feet or create a “blade” that is two feet long and can cause minor cuts. The C-Rank charge can either have a push back effect of five feet or create a “blade” that is five feet long and has enough power to cause moderate cutting damage though strong enough to cut through wooden objects with ease. The B-Rank charge can either have a push back effect of fifteen feet or create a “blade” that is fifteen feet long and has enough strength to cut through stone. The A-Rank charge can either have a push back effect of thirty feet or create a blade that is thirty feet long and has enough to cut through most unreinforced metals with ease. The S-Rank charge can either have a push back effect of a hundred feet or can create a “blade” that is a hundred feet long and strong enough to cleave a small mountain in two.
Blood Lock – A crest is at the butt of the hilt ensures that only those with the family blood can wield it, burning the hands of all those who attempt to touch the hilt in attempt to wield it. However, if Hashi were to engrave the name of someone somewhere on the sword with theirs, that gives that specific person consent to wield it, though that person cannot do the same for someone else.
Drawbacks:
Though it takes minimal effort to add chakra to it periodically, the blade will siphon off residual chakra from the Hashi taking bigger and bigger portions for each charge. It can also take away from the wielder's reserves and depending on how much they charge the seal up with will determine exactly how much drain they want to subject themselves with.

Clan Name: n/a. (no clan connetion) Clan Background:
Swift release users conjure chakra through a combination of advanced Fūton molding and the quintessence of spiritual pegasi. It functions in a similar way as the advanced wind element, but it is considerably more powerful in terms of utility, and far more taxing. By reversing the effects of compression on air pressure, swift release users distort the tiny particles of air (air molecules) and spread them out evenly. Being able to reduce friction, distort space (i.e. Shadowless Flight), etc. Doing so requires even more of an energy expenditure, and that alone can be fatal in the long run.
Clan Description: n/a. Clan Characteristics:
Required Wind Elemental. Every swift release user has this at birth, a fluctuating chakra network which emits a white aura of chakra. The energy is fluctuated based on the mental state of its conjurer, in simplest terms. Based on how they think and feel, it can respond differently. When in battle their techniques are most commonly identified with being seen with hints of white.
